Environmental Sustainability

We only source products grown or reared in areas where the land and climate are perfectly suited to the ingredients. Many of our suppliers practice extensive farming, a method that respects the environment and supports biodiversity. For example, our mountain beef and lamb from producers like Pastores Group graze on challenging terrains where little else can be farmed. Meanwhile, sustainable fishing practices shine through with MSC-certified octopus from El Viejo Pescador and anchovies from Pujado Solano. We also support initiatives like “Olive Groves Alive” with O-Med, which focuses on maintaining biodiversity in olive groves.

Social Sustainability

We work with producers who share our values of keeping rural communities alive. In Teruel, a region with a population density lower than the Arctic Circle, we help sustain local economies by importing lamb, pork, and DOP hams, directly supporting hundreds of families. Grupo Pastores, with 800 shepherds across 400 villages in remote areas of Aragón, is one of our key partners, helping communities thrive through local employment. We’re also proud to highlight projects like Hispamare’s CIF initiative in Gambia, empowering local fishermen with sustainable skills.
