Our PRODUCERS / Vega Mancha
Founded in 1985 by two friends with a passion for cheese, Vega Mancha began as a small artisanal cheese workshop in Sotuélamos. They embraced traditional methods while gradually incorporating modern techniques, preserving the rich cheesemaking heritage of the region. Over the years, the brand has grown into a respected reference for premium artisanal cheeses.
At Vega Mancha, every cheese is the result of a meticulous process that marries tradition with technology. The Lacaune sheep’s milk comes from local farmers practising sustainable and environmentally conscious farming. Cheeses are crafted by hand, with careful maturation that highlights the natural flavours and textures of the milk and other ingredients.
