The story of Tabladillo dates back to the mid-20th century with Laureano MarĂa, a man driven by ambition, effort, tenacity, and sacrifice. Starting with humble beginnings in Segovia, Laureano’s dedication laid the foundation for a legacy that would be carried forward by his son, Fernando. Fernando expanded the business from local sales to a nationwide presence, always adhering to the values of anticipation, prudence, and family unity instilled by his father. Today, the third generation continues to innovate, asking how they can bring the Segovian gastronomic gem of suckling pigs to tables around the world. Their answer lies in making the product accessible, blending tradition with modernity, and emphasizing the unique qualities of the Segovia suckling pig.
