Quesos y Besos, founded by a visionary husband and wife team in 2016, represents a bold step in artisanal cheese-making. Leaving their careers behind, they returned to their hometown of Guarromán, nestled on the outskirts of Sierra Morena in Sierra sur de Jaen, with a dream to raise their children and start a cheese-making business. Their familial heritage as shepherds provided a strong foundation, yet they were determined to forge a unique path in the cheese-making landscape.
Innovative Approach to Cheese-Making. Instead of following the traditional cheese-making practices of their region, the founders of Quesos y Besos set out to create something distinctly different. This innovative approach not only distinguishes their products but also enhances the quality and taste.
This direct connection between the local environment and the final product exemplifies the sustainable and holistic approach to agriculture and food production that Quesos y Besos champions.
